Series Format
The series will take place over 6 consecutive race weekends, starting Friday August 16th at 22:30 (UK) 17:30 (Eastern US) with a 15 minute qualifying session, with Race 1 to commence at 23:00/18:00. There will be 3 races in total which should all be completed by around 00:30/19:30. There will be a Pro and Am Championship, determined by previous XMIC/AX2R Series & Events, along with an option by yourself on your own abilities (these may be over-ruled if the organisers believe differently. There will also be a Teams & Independents Championship, options of which will be on the REGISTRATION FORM - HERE
When filling out the Registration Form above, please ensure you have your XMIC Race Number, which can be found HERE - if you do not have one, please apply for one on the page above by seeing which numbers are available on the list. If your Xbox GamerTag has changed from what we have listed please let us know. Ensure you have a Team Name ready and whether or not you're entering as a 2 man Team or as a lone Independent driver.
The only Driver Aid allowed will be ABS. Traction Control, Stability Management will be switched off and Full Simulation damage will be in place. There will be no restriction buckets in this series - each car will remain equal in potential performance throughout, how you tune your car is up to yourself or by using someone else's tune, but they must adhere to the series build regulations - Car Builds HERE
There will be 2 player groups to distinguish Pro & Am drivers - please ensure you are in the correct group before qualifying and the races start.
Qualifying
This will be held from 22:30 and will take approximately 15 minutes, using laps rather than the timer to ensure all laps can be completed in the time available. The fastest lap will take Pole Position (points are available for qualifying - see points below) with clean laps taking priority over dirty laps. Qualifying will be ghosted at all times which is why tinted windows are not allowed. Anyone that misses qualifying will start at the back of the grid in the order in which they enter the lobby.
Race Format
With a standing start as soon as the timer allows, there will be no waiting on the grid, no warm up laps - straight into the races.
Race 1 will be around 20 minutes in length (laps will vary on track length from race to race) and grid order will be determined by the Qualifying session above.
Race 2 grid will be a random reversal of places 5-10 and will be set to the same amount of laps as Race 1.
Race 3 will be a 35 minute race (laps will vary between tracks) and will include 1 mandatory pit-stop in a set pit-window. The grid will be a full Overall Championship Standings reversal, which will be updated between the races.
Pit stop windows will always be from Lap 10 to the Penultimate Lap. Anyone pitting on the Final Lap of the race will receive an instant Disqualification from the results. The Pit Exit line from every pit lane must be adhered to, if anyone crosses this line during the race when leaving the pits there will be a 10 second penalty added to your race timer regardless of whether other cars are around - this line is used to ensure safe distances are kept between cars at different speeds on the track and must be adhered to. No exceptions.
If there is more than one lobby worth of drivers, then the numbers will be split randomly but equally between each lobby for qualifying. Once qualifying is complete, the fastest half will go into A Lobby, with the remaining into B Lobby - if there's an odd amount of drivers, then the odd driver will be placed into A Lobby. There will be a promotion/relegation system in place with the top 3 of B Lobby and bottom 3 from A Lobby swapping places (this will be under review and may not be used throughout the season as logistics may make it difficult, but I want to see how it works). Though I don't envisage enough entrants to warrant 2 lobbies. If this proves too difficult or time consuming, then the lobbies will be split between Pro & Am's

We will use a dropped round system, which will incorporate a drivers worst round across the season, so anyone missing an entire weekend may still be Championship Contenders by the final Race.
Safety Car Procedure
The Safety Car will only be available in the first 3 laps of the race, once the leader starts Lap 4 this is no longer an option. Any incidents involving 3 damaged cars or more will result in a safety car call. All drivers involved in an accident MUST make sure their party host is aware of the damage, they must be clear and concise with this and inform of how many cars involved and whereabouts on the track the incident took place.
The safety car will drive at 50mph (race leader takes control of the pace) until the entire group bunches up, there will be no overtaking under the safety car, all damaged cars must remain in position until the pit entry line is available. The safety car will continue at 50mph allowing all cars to regroup after their pitstop, once the final driver joins the queue the call will be made for the safety car to come in and the race leader will control the pace at 50mph until the line. The race leader can then accelerate with each following driver doing so on the line only. There must be no overtaking before the line and anyone caught going above 50mph before the line will have a 5 second time penalty added to their total race time. This is not debatable - safety car periods breed safety car periods, so we will be ensuring options are used to minimise this risk
If a driver needs to pit for damage in the opening laps of Race 3 before the pit window is opened or during Safety Car period, then they MUST make a second pit stop during the pit window.
Serious Incident Reports
If there is an on track incident and you would like to report it, then each driver must send in game clips to either myself (NothelleN340), SVR Bradders, MtG Sweater, or Earni. These clips can be ones from during the race itself if it is safe to take a clip at that time, but preferably they must be from the Race Replay - they must show each drivers Telemetry and there must be a clip from each drivers view involved in the incident in order to give a balanced view of what happened.
Reports must include game clips, along with details such as which race it occurred in, roughly what lap it happened, which drivers were involved and a brief description of what took place. We will not go and look through the replays for incidents without all of the above information. It is up to you to provide this should an incident occur. Without this information then any cases of poor driving will not be penalised unless we witness it ourselves on track during the races.
Penalties
We will use a penalty system applied to each driver for any incidents. Blatant and targeted ramming of another driver will not be tolerated and is instant Disqualification from that race. If this occurs a second time in the season it will be disqualification from the round. If it happens a third time it will be instant series ban.
if there is a "push to pass" in which a driver pushes another out of the way in a braking zone then they will have the opportunity to hand this place back. If this is not done so and an SI is received about it then a 5 second penalty will be applied.
Forza Track limits must be adhered to, unless there is a briefing before the race allowing certain limits to be used. Anyone caught going beyond these limits excessively will receive a time penalty varying between 10-30 seconds depending on severity. If you do exceed track limits and feel an unfair advantage was gained, then simply lift off and give that time back and there will be no further action.
Penalties will accumulate as the series progresses, if a driver continues to collect penalty points for driving standards then they may face grid position losses, race bans or time penalties. The stewards will decide each case separately.
Parties
The main party will be hosted by myself, NothelleN340, however if a second party is required due to numbers above 16, then SVR Twitch will host this second party - ensure you add him to your friends list so you can join either of our parties on the night.
Invites (party and game) will be sent out before the event starts, but ultimately it is YOUR responsibility to be in the party/lobby on time by messaging or joining on the hosts
