Has anyone had much opportunity to get any laps under their belt at Road Atlanta? From memory and looking at the Rivals page, somewhere in the 1:27's seems a good target time and if possible and you're feeling sweaty you may drop into the high 26's

I'll be on tonight testing a couple of tune variations as I'll be out of town for the next couple of days.

Gonna be a hard fought race!! Times are close across the field and it's a very tough place to overtake at
The Mercs are looking really strong with their top end pace here

I'm into the 26s but only just and I don't think I can hold that pace.

If you can hold cars off through the twisties, which are almost single like stuff as it is, you'll be powering clear down the straight - and I know you're one of the latest of the late brakers

Haha. I realised long ago that's where I do most of my overtaking. Hence why I always tend to pick cars that stop well.

Your boy might need earplugs for this one Kieron. I anticipate a boatload of moaning and crying when people inevitably get knocked off or shoved into a tire wall. Only a couple of places that can happen where you won't lose horrendous amounts of time.

Haha at first I thought you were saying Trigger is definitely joining us then with all the potential crying and moaning! The turn at the top of the hill is gonna cause some issues and then chicane at the end 🙈

I think some people need to work on their racecraft a little not gonna mention names on here but dive bombing in the the last chicane is never gonna end well that was clearly never going to work and all that was acheived was taking at least two other people out as well as yourself. All I would suggest is bide your time...if your quicker a space will nearly always present its self or the guy your trying to pass will submit to pressure and make a mistake. Final note...these are not public lobbys but some of the moves last night would have me thinking otherwise!

And finally while the racing was great ( it always is! ) last night I'm gonna have to drop out of race 3 as this is simply too late a finish for me personally so with that I say good luck for the rest of the season I'll be there for race 1 and 2 on Fridays but that's it.

Fully agreed, there are some questionable moves attempted when it wouldn't take long to just await a mistake or to position yourself to make the most of any extra pace in hand over the car in front. Some drivers seem to be under the impression the car in front should jump out of their way when a move is made and then refuse to back off when it doesn't work out. Sorry to hear you can't stay on to complete all 3 races, the evenings have tended to overrun especially since the recent update (FRS has been hit by similar issues) but hopefully each week brings a better fluidity
